David and Rafi are packing up for their trip this weekend.Rafi: I’m so excited about our trip to YNP this weekend!David: Calm down. It’s no big deal, okay? Nothing special a

bout it.Rafi: What? You must be kidding! Don’t you know that YNP

is the only national park in the world so close to the urban area? We’re so lucky to live in Taipei to enjoy everything it provides, such as hot springs, beautiful scenery, precious wildlife.

David: Wow, I didn’t realize that we’re so lucky!Rafi: Yep. We ought to be grateful for such easy access to

nature. Anyway, let’s finish packing soon so that everything will be ready for the trip.

Conversation (2): One-day Trip to YNP

Mona and Lisa are planning their trip for this coming Sunday.

Mona: Lisa. Do you have any idea about our visit to YNP this Sunday?

Lisa: Of course! Since the flower are in bloom now, we could go look at the flowers in Yangmingshan Park in the morning. After that, we may go and pick some calla lilies at Zhuzihhu in the afternoon. If we feel exhausted after all that, we could also take a hot spring bath at Macao.

Mona: Wow, sounds like there’s a lot to do there! I can barely wait till then.

Lisa: Me, either. Let’s just pray the weather will still be fair then as it is today.

• Ground around sulfur fumaroles and geothermal ( 地熱的 ) hot spring areas is loose. Do not climb over fences to avoid accidents.

• Weather in the area changes frequently. Please prepare raingear ( 雨具 ) and warm clothes before climbing and hiking.

• Digging, climbing and cutting trees, picking flowers and herbs, or carrying out of other natural resources from the park area is prohibited.

• Littering, shouting, listening to music, fireworks and barbecues are not allowed.
