Venue Hire Are you looking for a beautiful space to hire for your next function?
Yarrunga Community Centre has a range of rooms available including a hall that seats up to 140 and meeting rooms overlooking the lake for smaller groups or one-on-one consultations. Our rooms are perfect for events, courses, meetings and workshops and suit support groups, training groups, businesses and individuals.
Rooms start from $18.50 for regular business hire and $14

Community WorksCarers Community Hub at YarrungaThe iDareU Carers Community Hub is a place where carers can network with others, pursue a hobby, relax and access valuable disability resources all in one place. They are held on the 4th Sunday of the month from 1.30pm – 4.30pm. This is a space available for all carers – whether your loved one is in the NDIS or not. For more information - [email protected]
Friends of YarrungaFriends of Yarrunga is a group that helps out with some easy and basic maintenance and upkeep; or promotion of Centre activities and programs; or assistance at special events and celebrations. If you would like more information on joining please contact us.

Art and Enterprise Skills This program teaches skills in either jewellery making, woodwork or painting, as well as exploring how to extend artwork into different formats, enter markets and exhibitions, display work on social media and developing a portfolio. These skills can be used to pursue opportunities for employment or further study.

Barista TasterOur Barista Taster sessions will introduce you to the world of coffee making and the basics of making an espresso shot, stretching and texturing milk and making some of the more commonly ordered coffees. Interested participants can then transition into our full Barista Skills Training.

Barista Skills Training Learn the art of coffee making including how to make a great espresso shot, stretching and texturing milk, and some coffee art basics. You will also learn how to use various machines including set up, clean up and OH&S.

Barista Skills 1:1Would you like to have a 1:1 session to brush up your Barista Skills? It’s a great opportunity for people applying for jobs in cafes.
