TASK DESCRIPTION:
You will complete a ONE period test, covering the Mathematics topics listed below.
Algebraic Techniques & Indices Surface Area & Volume Statistics
The paper will involve multiple choice and short-answer questions on focus topics.
Section 1 – Multiple choice 10 marks total
Section 2 – Short-Answer questions on focus topics worth 20 marks total
Recommended equipment:
• Board approved scientific calculator
• Pens, ruler, pencils, rubber
This task will be completed under examination conditions.
You are encouraged to create a ONE-SIDED A4 sized note that may include useful formulas and notes on
solving questions. Your notes MUST NOT contain any worked examples. You are to hand in this sheet
during your test in Week 4.
