Senior Agreements state:
• Students will attend regularly, be on time, prepared and in full
school uniform.
• Students to complete all assessment tasks and work set by
teachers as per QSA guidelines.
• Students to attend Pathway Centre commitments.
• All students must commit to either Rank, OP or Cert pathway.
• All students must treat others in the school community with
respect.
• All students must remain eligible for a QCE.

will sit the QCS Test.
University entry
The OP Student Predictions at each reporting period after
Sem 1.
Overall Positions range from 1 to 25 A combination of their best 5 subjects and
result on the QCS test Relative place in subject is important Students predicted at 20-25 better to
choose Selection Rank pathway.
The Selection Rank Student
3 or 4 OP (authority) subjects (recommended) and will sit the QCS Test.
Alternative entry to university but can be limited
A score up to 99 Calculated on best 20 semesters of Year
11 & 12 and QCS test Rank Calculator software – gives the
equivalent OP score.
Certificate / QCE Student
A program made up of OP, SAS and Certificate subjects. They do not sit the QCS test.Must be completing VET certificates.It recommended that a certificate / QCE student completes some work experience or school-based traineeship.
Certificate / QCE Student Must gain 20 credit points and maintain
three subjects over the 4 semesters. Credit points can be obtained from subjects
and certificates obtained outside of school. Must pass 1 semester of English & Maths. Should be completing at least 1 Certificate
II or higher. Should be utilising the Pathway Centre.

A student must obtain 20 credit points to receive their QCE

QTAC – Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre
Handles tertiary applications for all Queensland and Northern NSW Universities
Applications open in July and close late September for the following year
List up to six preferences
Can usually change preferences until early January

Traineeship – usually completed whilst at school
Apprenticeships – usually completed in the years following school
Combine work school and training
Attend at least one day of work per week
