About the webinar IESA in association with United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) is organising an open webinar for the launch of UNIDO’s ‘Facility of Low Carbon Deployment’ Innovation Challenge on Energy Storage for the year 2020. Vision: To identify high-impact emerging Start-ups and thereby support them for technology validation and market access. This year onwards, Electrical Energy Storage has been recognised as an emerging sector for innovation and has been introduced as a vertical for the Innovation Challenge. Aim: To identify high-impact opportunities that have potential for energy saving as well as large-scale carbon emission reductions. Objective: To address technology gaps through use of energy efficiency technologies and support the deployment and scale-up. Program Structure •Introduction to the Innovation challenge. •The eligibility criteria for Start-ups, the program objective and structure along with the benefits offered. •Process for application of the challenge and its M&V process involved.
