Met their fellow new students and their Form Tutors (except 7SO Mrs Curran).
Toured the school with student mentors. Logged on to our computer system. Written a letter to “Dear Me” about their
hopes for the next 5 years. Made a prayer chain in their Tutor Group
Liturgy Considered their ‘Hopes and Challenges’ for
the forthcoming year.

Dining Hall:We have a biometric cash free system. Please ensure you put credit on your child’s account. You can even have a look to see what they are buying!
Financial - Lunchtimes
Lockers are available for Year 7 at a cost of £10 for the year.
£5 is refunded when the key is returned.
Don’t panic, the Finance Office holds a spare key!

Voluntary Aided School => have to fund 10% of all capital expenditure.
We ask for a donation £11 a month per child via standing order.
Voluntary but many projects would not happen without such parental donations.
Gift aid means another 25p for each £1 donated.

Financial – Governors’ Fund
Depending on parent’s financial circumstances your child may be eligible for free school meals. Vital you apply as the school also receives extra funding, Pupil Premium, for up to six years. Currently £935 per year.
Ring fenced and targeted spend to raise attainment.
Discreet and confidential - a simple, confidential form needs to be completed and handed to finance or Miss Das so eligibility can be confirmed.

2013 - £15,000 pledged towards the new Theatre and Liturgy building.2012 - £10,000 donated towards the outside canopies.2011 - £12,000 donated towards the new sound system in the Dining Hall.2010 - £10,000 donated towards the Sixth Form Centre.

Every parent is automatically a member of the St Peter's PTA and information is included in
your packs.We meet once every half term. Members of
the PTA can do as much or as little as they can - do not be afraid to join - it is a great way to
meet new parents and families and have fun!Whether you can spare time or money please support your child's school by supporting the
PTA in their valuable work.

Socials - Annual Quiz Evening, Ladies Pamper Night, Fashion Show to name but a few.

Children have to be at school to learn. If they are not here, they cannot learn.
Statistics prove that students with excellent attendance, e.g. 95% upwards, gain the best results.
Holidays will not be sanctioned during school time.
Medical appointments where possible are to be made out of school hours.

We have arranged for professional photographers Prêt a Portrait to come into school on September 3rd to photograph the incoming Year 7.
They specialise in taking a mix of fun, contemporary and traditional photographs and we used them very successfully last year. You will be able to view and purchase any prints that you want.
