The end of key stage 3 testing means that some students realise they have nothing serious to prepare
for and many lose momentum and focus.
More preparation for exams & revision in year 11 rather than covering content
Changes will only involve option choices

The Core Curriculum Structure
The core subjects will be studied by all students and we will look to complete some in year 10
English – Literature & Language – double progress points Maths – double progress points Science – double progress points BTEC PE – gain a qualification alongside core PEPSHE – covered in the whole school Either Geography or History – EBBAC requirement Either French or Spanish – EBBAC requirement
