Notes• We talked about insects and what they knew (current work in class)• Read the story together (familiar text)• How do we spell one, two, three, four, five?• Introduced the slides in ‘slide sorter view’ and the task• Make sure they highlight the box before typing ! (Demo)• More able could put in their own words (with help)• Some needed support with inserting text• 20 mins for the IT task.• Show the whole story in ‘slide show ’ after IT task + shared reading• Whole session took 40-45 mins• This was done with 6 children and laptops• Potential for use with IWB• Would have used Textease but not available on these particular
