Learning Standard : 5.1.1 Able to use nouns correctly and appropriately:
(a) common nouns
(b) singular nouns
(c) plural nouns
Learning outcome : By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
I. Differentiate between singular noun, plural noun and common noun.
II. Say 4 from 5 things that can be found in community correctly.

1. The teacher pastes a few copies of the word cards around the classroom.2. The teacher divides pupils into 4 or 5 groups.3. Instruct pupils to look for as many word cards as they can.4. Pupils read aloud the word cards they have collected.5. Pupils categorize the word cards they found according to their types of nouns.6. Pupils paste the word cards on the manila cards provided.7. Teacher shows the correct answer to the students.
