JANUARY | THE TRANSPORTATION SECTORTransportation in the oil and gas industry is of paramount importance. Whether you are transporting hydrocarbon product, or you’re trying

to build a facility, you need the product there on time and at a reasonable price. For oil and gas, it’s pipelines, road delivery, or increasingly rail. For construction materials, including heavy hauls or simply hotshot service, we

concentrate on the open road. We focus our attention on this vital sector. This is the place to showcase your company’s particular expertise.SPACE DEADLINE: DECEMBER 5 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: DECEMBER 12

FEBRUARY | OIL/REFINING | REGIONAL REPORT- EDMONTON INDUSTRIAL PARKSAs part of our focus on Edmonton, we’ll deal with the refining community centred in the area, including Fort Saskatchewan. Refining

issues that affect the industry and the province will be explored, and we’ll look at new activity in the refining sector, including the Northwest Redwater Partnership, a $5.4 billion project.

We’ll also look at Edmonton’s Industrial Parks, a vital part of the city’s and the province’s economy. With the majority of Edmonton’s businesses making their livelihood in the oil and gas industry, and most of them located in parks where they have easy access to the rest of the province, it is appropriate that we focus on the vital contribution these areas make.

SPACE DEADLINE: JANUARY 2 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: JANUARY 9

MARCH | VALVES, METERS, INSTRUMENTATIONThese three products are vital to the entire industry, upstream or downstream. Visit a pipeline monitoring station, a gas plant,

or even a wellsite or drilling rig, and you’ll see these products in abundance. A valve needs actuation and metering, and this is why these three components are linked together. If you serve the industry through the provision of these products, we’ll display your wares and your expertise.

SPACE DEADLINE: JANUARY 30 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 6

APRIL | HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT, SECURITYSafety and health, safety and the environment, personal safety and security. These are issues of prime importance in the oil

and gas industry. We all want a green future, and it is achievable while still providing the public with the hydrocarbons that make the world function.

Disposal, storage, and transport, site reclamation, well abandonment, flaring. These issues and more, keeping in mind the safety and well-being of the workforce, will be highlighted in this month’s Buy & Sell.

This issue will be overprinted and distributed at the Petroleum Safety Conference, held early May 5-7, 2015 in Banff, Alberta. What better venue is there than this prime example of natural beauty, the first of Canada’s national parks.

SPACE DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 27 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: MARCH 6

MAY | HIGHLIGHT- SASKATCHEWANWhat can you say about Saskatchewan? For years the province was best known for the people who left to become stars in the Alberta

oilpatch. Now its sons and daughters are coming home, or staying put, and with good reason.Long resource-rich, Saskatchewan is now officially a have province, and oil and gas has been largely responsible for that change in

status. If you do business in Saskatchewan, this is a good issue to be seen in.Another good place to be seen is the Saskatchewan Oil & Gas Show, held in Weyburn June 3-4, 2015. We will act as your entry to the

show with an advertisement in this issue. We will overprint by a couple of thousand, and distribute your message through our presence at the show.

SPACE DEADLINE: MARCH 27 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: APRIL 3

JUNE | NEW PRODUCTS/ NEW TECHNOLOGY | THE GLOBAL PETROLEUM SHOWStarting in 2015, the Global Petroleum Show goes yearly, and this is the one show you to need to be seen in. If you don’t have a

booth but need a presence, use the Buy & Sell as your show guide. We overprint by a few thousand, and distribute it from our booth at the show. You can accomplish your need to be there at a fraction of the price of a booth, which is almost impossible to secure given the demand for space.

If you have a new product, even better. This issue is our New Products/New Technology feature. More exposure at a venue seen by the world- what could be better?

SPACE DEADLINE: APRIL 24 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: MAY 1

INDUSTRY OVERVIEW The oil and gas industry is in the beginning stages of a serious uptick in its fortunes, and the really good news is that nobody’s calling it a boom just yet.

We’ve had a couple of good years, and all the signs point to good times to come. Pipeline bottlenecks are being removed, increasing flow which means increased production. Gas prices are stable and even rising. Oil is being sold at good prices, and the price differential for Canadian crude is slowly being erased. This means bil-lions in revenue for oil and gas producers, which tradi-tionally gets re-invested to further increase production.

With its unique focus on the entire spectrum of the indus-try, both upstream and down-stream, The Roughneck Buy & Sell is ideally positioned to assist the advertiser who wants extensive reach at a reasonable price. If you’re an established company on a strict budget, or a grow-ing company contemplating national exposure, we have a product that fits your needs. Our marketing packages include a unique combination of advertising and editorial that is second to none.

JULY| MIDSTREAM PRODUCTS/LNG- CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES | REGIONAL REPORT- FOCUS ON LEDUC/NISKUFor the industry, an MCF of liquids-rich gas is the equivalent of a barrel of oil. Natural gas liquids have long since come into their own,

but they present their own special challenges, in both processing and transportation. Propane, ethane, butane, pentanes plus, we’ll put the spotlight on the operational issues that make this end of the industry tick. If you’re involved, you need to be seen in this edition.

LNG has been a bit of a buzzword for the past few years now. If governments get onside with industry, this sector will be a major player in the oil and gas scene. We’ll look at projects, and maybe even predict which one will be the first to deliver product to an offshore or southern buyer. Will it be Kitimat or Point Edwards in Prince Rupert? We’ll try to find out.

Leduc was the site of Number 1, the well that ushered in the modern era of the Canadian oil and gas industry. Over the years, Leduc and Nisku have maintained their prominent position in the industry, with hundreds of service companies calling these two communities home. Great infrastructure, transportation access, and a location near the centre of the province- all these factors make this regions tick. If you do business in the area, you need to be seen in this special Regional Report.

SPACE DEADLINE: MAY 29 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: JUNE 5

AUGUST | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATIONSYou can have all the production in the world, but if you don’t monitor and maintain the fields, you’re nowhere. Satellite technology,

which is ever-changing, remote monitoring devices, control rooms at head or field office- if you don’t communicate effectively with your remote operations, you cease making money in short order. This issue will showcase new and existing technology, and highlight certain companies that are leading the way. Are you one of those companies?

SPACE DEADLINE: JUNE 26 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: JULY 3

SEPTEMBER | CAMPS & LOGISTICSThe industry’s workforce needs to be housed and fed, and as most of the industry is located in remote and often difficult locations, camps

are an important factor in the success of the industry. From giant builders who supply five thousand person camps, to companies who sell custom-built containers that look like luxury suites,

there is a lot of activity in this manufacturing sector. These camps need catering, entertainment, communications, and maintenance. If you make your living supplying the human needs of

the energy sector, this is your forum. And if you have a unique story to tell, we’ll tell it here.SPACE DEADLINE: JULY 31 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: AUGUST 7

OCTOBER | DRILLING/DRILLING TECHNOLOGYCompanies prefer to grow through the drill bit. There are greater risks, but also greater rewards, and there are bragging rights to bringing

in your own production, whether it’s 10 or 10,000 bbl/d.The folks who make it happen on the ground work for the drilling companies who invest in big iron, source the drilling programs, and

operate in the harshest of conditions. If you’re a driller, or a supplier to this important sector of the industry, this is your feature month. New techniques, new products, developments in MWD or under-balanced, we want to hear your story, and promote your product.

SPACE DEADLINE: AUGUST 28 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 4

NOVEMBER | NORTHEAST BRITISH COLUMBIA | REGIONAL REPORT- FOCUS ON FORT ST. JOHN/TAYLORLike Saskatchewan, many of British Columbia’s northern sons and daughters are staying at home, making their lives and careers

in the oil and gas industry. The discovery of prolific fields like Montney, Ring Border, Bullmoose, Horn River, Liard Basin, and Taylor has sparked a large service

sector in their own back yard. We’ll let our readers know just how well this region is doing. As part of our British Columbia section, we’ll focus on Fort St. John and Taylor. Once a fur trade post, Fort St. John has hun-

dreds of service companies which call the small city home, and Taylor has some world-class gas processing in the area. We provide a forum for you to display your product lines.

SPACE DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 25 | MATERIAL DEADLINE: OCTOBER 2

DECEMBER | NATURAL GAS/GAS PROCESSING | OILFIELD SERVICES DIRECTORYGas plants are an integral part of the western Canadian scene. We have developed technologies which have proven themselves

throughout the world, and we continue to innovate and explore. Gas is coming back, and the products and services that build, maintain, and improve gas processing technology will receive their due pride of place in this important issue.

We’ve been publishing the Buy & Sell for almost 20 years, and we’ve never offered our subscribers and clients a directory to display their products and services. With the 1st Annual Oilfield Services Directory, we have fixed that problem. We will offer a free listing to industry suppliers, with preference given to our specialized client base. Of course, this is an excellent opportunity to expand on your product offerings with an advertising message that will make the producer sit up and take notice.
