DESTINATION: The City of Brotherly Love

Our High School Concert and Jazz Band will travel to Philadelphia April 20-24, 2016. Our Aggie band family is certainly excited as we have record numbers of interested participants.

PLEASE NOTE: Funds deposited ensure your student’s place on the trip. If your student is planning on participating, your deposit MUST be in during September.

We h a v e m o r e s t u d e n t s interested in participating on this trip than in years past, and many more parents interested in chaperoning. This should be a great experience!

Mr. Lowe forgot to send a reminder for the August payment. So if participating students would send in at least a $120 payment by October 1, that would be greatly appreciated.

LIBERTY LIES WAITING: Philadelphia, along the banks of the Delaware River, is the centerpoint of the Great American Experiment and the destination of the Beal City Bands for Spring 2016

2015-16 INITIATIVESEquipment Trailer

Many programs our size have purchased an equipment trailer to haul the accompanying equipment the band has to its various events, performances and festivals. To date, we h a v e b e e n fortunate to u s e R o d Cole’s trailer. However, Mr. Cole no longer has a student in the program and it would make sense to purchase one for our exclusive use. Costs on these trailers run between $2000-2700. If you have connec t ions on such a purchase or have funding options, please contact Mr. Lowe.

Marching Percussion Our current marching percussion

equipment is, at least, 20 years old. P u r c ha s i ng a com p le t e new marching drumline would cost

approximate ly $8000-10000. Please be looking for crowdfunding opportunities connected with this initiative or contact Mr. Lowe for ways you can help.

Lincoln Test Drive Event Thanks to all those who assisted,

participated and worked the Lincoln Driven to Give event! Especially to Ron & Chris Neyer were available the entire day and spent a great deal of time preparing the TEMPO Club side of things. Also, kudos to Terry Tambourin who assisted with logistics as well. Student or parent, the Driven to Give event would not have been successful without you!

Marching Aggie Invitational The Marching Aggie Invitational

had great weather, great students and great performances. We were pleased to welcome Farwell to the fold joining stalwart participants White Cloud, Morley-Starwood and Pine River. In addition, we welcomed the new band director in Clare, Mr. Adam Cable, and we hope t o we l come t he C la re Marching Band next year! Exciting times, exciting growth, exciting performances!
