    G20 Experience

Young Indians (Yi), anintegral part o Conederation

    o Indian Industry (CII),

    was chosen to represent

    India at the G20 Young

    Entrepreneur Summit (YES)

    at Nice, France in November

2011. It was a great honour

to be one o the 24 young

    entrepreneurs chosen rom

19 cities across India to join

    400 others rom the worlds

    leading 20 economies to

    pitch entrepreneurship as a

    possible solution to the global

crisis to the Heads o G20

    states. The G20 YES showed

how the youth could be a

part o a bigger plan, and how

    they could collectively play

a part in shaping destinies o

    millions o people around the

    world. It also demonstrated

    that when the young get

    together, innite possibilities

open up or a more equitable

    and prosperous world.

    It was great listening to

    thought leaders like Shai

    Agassi, Anand Mahindra,

    Maria Panelli, and Xavier

    Fontanet among others.

I was lucky to be picked

    or a breakast meeting

    with Nobel Laureate Pro.

    Muhammad Yunus, ounder

o Grameen Bank. In just a

    ew minutes o interacting

with him, I realised there are

    no barriers high enough i

we are determined to makea dierence, that we are only

    bound by our sel-imposed

    limitations.

I have not only made riends

or lie with a vibrant set o

    enthusiastic entrepreneurs

    rom across India, my

    participation in YES as a

    Yi delegate brought me in

    touch with, learn rom, and

    associate with great young

    entrepreneurs rom across

    the G20 countries.

Change is both individual and collective, We should

think, act and be inspired. The concept o Satyagraha

innovated by Gandhiji is viable even ater 64 years o

independence. Its not the whole country one needs

to take care o, as a individual we should just beresponsible o the 50 yards around onesel and all shall

be taken care o. We all have spark, we just need to ignite

it and channelize all the energies in the right direction.
