Product Life Cycle
Supply Chain
• The materials necessary to
create our product are all
recyclables.
• PET bottles are used for
packaging.
• The method of
transportation is by truck.
Supply Chain Continued...
For metal, we mainly used recyclables of Copper, Nickel, and Aluminum. The
market price for Copper: $2.75 per pound and increasing. For Nickel: $5.71
and decreasing. For Aluminum: $0.776 and decreasing.
The market price for recycled PET bottles is $0.77 per pound and increasing.
The market price for cotton fiber used to make the fabric is $2.12 and
increasing.
If there was a shortage of our key resources in the supply chain, it would
greatly affect the company, industry, consumer, and economy. We would not
be able to produce without the materials needed, which would affect the
companies that we distribute to. After a shortage, if YKK cannot produce the requirements needed, then companies may not want to use YKK as their
distributor.
