Proposal Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 5700 to rezone the
captioned parcels to allow retail cannabis stores as permitted uses.
From: Business Industrial (I-B) To: Direct Control (DC) See attached map for land use details.
What Does This Mean? The current Business Industrial (I-B) land use district
of this parcel allows for a variety of commercial uses but it does not allow retail cannabis stores.
Approval of the proposed Land Use Bylaw amend-ment will allow a retail cannabis store as a permitted use in addition to a range of commercial and service uses.
The proposed amendment is in compliance with the Land Use Bylaw 5700, which determines where retail cannabis stores can be located in Lethbridge.
The applicant is Braemore Management.
