Mission Statement: Positively influencing the youth to transform the media. Vision: To help teens realize their full potential though media. Core Values: We want to do our part by sharing the spirit of Aloha. The first part about sharing Aloha is to understand Aloha. As such, our core values will reflect what Aloha means to us. A - Alo (Front, Face, Presence) We want these teens to be honest with us, and so we will be honest with them. If an idea is bad, we will tell then why it is. Creativeness will always be refined with creative criticism. It will also help guide the teens when they become leaders. L - Launa Aloha (Friendly Association, fellowship) Destroying the thought of “competition” or “rival company”. For a community to survive everyone must works together. Helping each other, realizing our weakness and strengths will help our community in the long run. O - ʻŌlelo Paipai (Word of Encouragement, Exhortation) I ka ‘ōlelo no ke ola, i ka ‘ōlelo nō ka make - In the word there is life, in the word there is death. Our language, the way we use words, can either help or destroy our future. H - Hā (Breath of Life) Breathing is very important, it’s what gives us life. Apart of Aloha, is to also be healthy to share it. Giving guidelines on how to eat properly (even on a budget), excises, and more so that we maybe able to live longer and healthier lives. A - Ahonui (Patience as expressed in perseverance) We must teach teens (ourselves as well) that things don’t always happen when we want them to. Work needs to be done to clear our paths. If we keep at it, we will persevere and reach our goal and clear the way for the next generation.
