Description:

Flame retardant epoxy resin for PCB: Owing to the rigid structure and pendant phosphorus group, the resultant phosphorus containing epoxy resin exhibited better environmentally retardant, higher glass transition temperature, thermal stability, less toxic and smoke than the conventional flame retardant epoxy resin systems containing tetrabromo-bisphenol-A (TBBA). UL94-VO rating could be achieved with a phosphorus content of 2% in epoxy resin. It has demonstrated superior ability as flame retardant for printed circuit board (PCB) and electrical laminate.
