The objective of theprogramme is doubling thefarmers' income throughimplementation of twoactivities such as trainingand demonstration of miniincubator for supply ofchicks and scientific goat
farming. The Hub will actas a Nodal centre and as theplatform for interaction ofscientist & farmers toaddress the issues ofdevelopment of backyardlivestock and poultrysector of the Islandfarmers. As a part of the Hubactivity, every month fivefarmers including women,rural unemployed youthwill be selected and trainedon scientific goat farmingand operation of MiniIncubator for supply ofchicks on regular basis forpoultry farming at the MainHub.
