You don’t require a jackpot alwaysWe invest all our energies for one big thing to happen, and forget to relish the taste of happiness or joy which we get from innumerable actions or incidents in our day to day lives. 

Well, I had realized this truth many years ago and I don’t shy to smile on every damn thing which gives me a high even for a split second. Since there are 1000s of such things which I can mention here, I would start with one.

And that’s the time when I boarded a flight from Kolkata to Delhi an year ago. I was walking through the aisle and had a glimpse of a cockpit while someone was walking past the door. My eyes instantly gleamed mere at the glance of it, and the Air Hostess, standing next to me, noticed it. I told her that I have a strong fascination towards airplanes and airports and I would be elated if I could see the cockpit. She said “Let me check with the Captain if it’s okay with him”. She asked the Captain and he permitted me to come inside but only when the plane would complete its landing at Delhi airport. When we landed, I went inside the cockpit, the Captain was nice and he switched on all the lights of the cockpit to give me a feel how it looks when the plane is 1000s feet above, high in the sky. I was so amazed at the sight of it and felt special. I was glad that my trip ended with a beautiful memory. 

And that makes me think that we don’t need a big story always to write a blog:)
