ProVision offers two different levels of Membership to suit the needs of you and your practice – the Comprehensive Program and Essentials Program.

What’s the difference between the Comprehensive and Essentials Program?

Comprehensive Program

Access to all ProVision services, resources and systems are included in your membership service fee.

The scope of resources provided in the Comprehensive Program is inclusive of the following:

• Regular access to a commercially experienced Business Coach who provides dedicated business support to help you achieve your business goals and make your life easier

• Attendance at all face-to-face education programs for your entire practice team

• Point of sale marketing materials to support National Retail Campaigns

• Professional advice in relation to the spectrum of Human Resource related matters and important commercial decisions including leasing, sale of business and practice fit out

• Preferential rates on services over and above your membership benefits including internal graphic design services, recruitment service Express3, ProVision’s 5-month Applied Optical Dispensing Course and e-Commerce solution, ProShop

Essentials Program

Access to ProVision services, resources and systems of which some specific elements are provided on a user pays basis eg. face-to-face education and retail campaign materials.

This provides you with the flexibility to access resources relevant to you and your practice at any given point in time. Regular access to a dedicated Business Coach is only provided to members in the Comprehensive Program.

Can I change my membership?

Yes, ProVision provides members with the flexibility to transition between the Comprehensive Program and Essentials Program dependent on your business needs, as well as being able to satisfy the respective program qualification criteria.

Comprehensive Program Terms and Investment

• Monthly service fee of 1% (incl GST) of gross revenue (ex GST)^

• 75% of total product purchases must be through ProVision supplier partners

• Mandatory (confidential) monthly reporting of gross income and other performance data to ProVision for analysis and benchmarking

Essentials Program Terms and Investment

Membership Fee

An annual membership investment of $1,000 (incl GST) per practice will be charged in arrears only if a practice’s supplier partner purchases for the previous full year of membership is less than $12,500 monthly or $150,000 annually (ex GST).

Service Fee

Flat monthly service fee^ on net purchases through preferred suppliers:

• 3% (incl GST) on total purchases up to $10,000 (excluding GST) per month

• 2% (incl GST) on total purchases if purchases are between $10,001 to $16,500 (ex GST) per month

• 1% (incl GST) on total purchases if purchases are between $16,501 and $25,000 (ex GST) per month

• Nil service fee on total purchases if purchases exceed $25,000 (ex GST) per month

For multiple practices, the monthly service fee will be calculated on the total combined practice purchases for the month.

Membership Qualification Criteria

• Optometrist[s] must own a significant share in the practice

• Optometrist[s] must be Optometry Australia members

• The practice[s] must be full scope [offering consulting and dispensing services]

• The practice[s] cannot be a member of any other optometry management, marketing or buying groups

• ProVision Board approval required

^Fee will remain subject to periodic reviews and indexation and may be varied by ProVision from time to time at our discretion.
