MeetingMinder™ Touch10 and Touch15: Digital Sign First, Room Booking Second

Touch room signs are perfect for organizations that want to use room signs as an extension of their digital signage. Our powerful AxisTV content management software lets you create, import, schedule and publish a wide range of digital media and mass alerts, in addition to room and event schedules, to your meeting room signs.

These interactive signs display room reservations from a variety of data sources, while allowing you to create a walk-up reservation with only a few touches to the screen. You’ll see room availability at a glance with our large on-screen status light, and availability lights on each side that shine GREEN when the room is available and RED when it’s not.

To schedule the room, just touch “Reserve” and set the time and meeting length. Optionally, a four-digit PIN can be set to protect your reservation from being erroneously canceled or modified. Walk-up reservations are immediately shared with your calendar application to avoid double-bookings, and can be limited to within a few hours of the current time, to the same day, or to a number of days from the current date.

Both our 10- and 15-inch Touch room signs can be surface mounted or recessed right out of the box with no additional hardware. Power over Ethernet allows you to run one Ethernet cable to the meeting room sign to supply both power and data, so you don’t have to worry about concealing power bricks.

For rooms where walk-up reservations aren’t appropriate, any Touch room sign can run in non-interactive mode so that digital signage content and schedules are displayed full-screen.

MeetingMinder™ Connect10: Room Booking First, Digital Sign Second

Our 10-inch Connect room sign is the ideal option to show schedules outside each meeting room and allow people to book space on the go. You’ll see room availability at a glance with side lights just like our Touch signs.

This versatile display shows data from Exchange, EMS or Google calendars with a full-screen application for viewing room availability with day and week calendar views. The interactive screen lets you book space right at the room sign, and those reservations are immediately shared with your calendar application to avoid double-bookings.

If you don’t want to limit yourself to schedules only, Connect provides the option to pull in digital signage messages via RSS. As long as your content management application will export an RSS image playlist, you can show those messages on your Connect signs.

Just like our Touch signs, Connect signs can be surface mounted or recessed right out of the box, and have Power over Ethernet capabilities, so you don’t have to worry about concealing power bricks.

MeetingMinder™ EPS7: Economic Hoteling and Schedule Display

Our 7-inch electronic paper signs (EPS) are the most economic option for organizations with workspace hoteling or meeting rooms that only need to display room names and schedules - a paperless, wireless, environmentally-friendly solution from Visix.

These sleek and attractive displays can be attached to a desk, cubicle or outside a meeting room, and are set to show information from Exchange, EMS and other popular scheduling applications. EPS signs are updated wirelessly via RF communication without expensive data network or power installation requirements. These compact signs are powered by a self-contained battery that is only activated when the information changes, which allows for a battery lifespan of at least three years or 10,000 updates. EPS signs can be enclosed in an attractive frame customized to your design. Include the room or workspace name and choose from an assortment of placard finishes.

RoomBoard™

Whether you’re looking for a meeting, or looking for a place to meet – our interactive RoomBoard™ gives you a robust self-service room management solution that can stand alone or easily integrate with our MeetingMinder™ Touch room signs.

RoomBoard™ is a one-stop touchscreen wayfinding solution for large screens that shows space availability, maps event listings to rooms, and can even allow room booking at the RoomBoard™. All RoomBoards™ are custom-built with your logo, colors and map. Maps are interactive and room availability is instantly recognizable with available rooms in GREEN and occupied rooms in RED. The number of available meeting rooms is also displayed prominently at the top of the screen to let meeting organizers know their options at a glance.

Event schedules and room availability are fed by a scheduling application like Exchange or EMS, and we can build in custom controls on screen to allow viewers to schedule space right at the RoomBoard™.

Point-to-point directions can be provided to visitors, and content blocks can play back standard digital signage content.

All of our RoomBoard™ designs include visual paths from the “You Are Here” icon to the target destination, and scrolling tools at the bottom of the screen make our designs ADA compliant.
