YOUNG AT HEART
EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS It should hardly come as news to optimists that thinking positive thoughts is more than mere wishful thinking. In fact, evidence abounds that a positive approach to life helps people live longer and healthier lives. Thus, anyone plagued by pessimistic thoughts is strongly encouraged to interrupt negative thoughts by telling him- or herself to make a conscious effort to adopt a more optimistic posture. One effective way to keep nega-tive thoughts at bay is to use the power of reasoning. Instead of succumb-ing to the negative emotion that a setback might engender, it helps to stick to the facts. By seeing how positives outweigh negatives, anyone can trans-form an adverse event into a learning experience, or even an opportunity.
P.S. A positive outlook illuminates the path that leads to success.
Exceeding expectations is something that PETERS CREEK RETIRE-MENT/ASSISTED LIVING is always aspiring to do! We are here to as-sure that our senior residents receive the support and encouragement that they need to help them achieve their “personal best”. Learn more about us. Reach us today at (425) 869-2273. We will arrange an initial meeting and tour of our senior community at 14431 Redmond Way. We look forward to meeting you!
