YEN is a part of YE Norway, and YE/YA Europe. Our goal is non-commercial and our programs to be built on national and international concepts'.

Program is developed to give pupils experience and knowledge about how they can contribute to positive changes for themselves and others, by using own ideas as a basis for product development and/or problem solving
How to build and network of partners in the local community
Target age: 9 – 11
Crossing Europe
Through practical lessons with boardgames, maps etc the pupils get knowledge about countries and resources in Europe. The goal is to give awareness and understanding about how a regions- and personal consumption influence the societyCrossing Europe – how we as nations depends on each other

Innovation CampCamp for training in creativity and innovation. In partnership with local enterprise the participants gets a task for problem solving before the camp, to solve during 24 hours. Company ProgrammeStudents form a mini-corporation, within school hours. Teacher role is more The go through faces such as; idea-making, formal establishing of company, registration in official company registration, roles in company. Sales and production, reporting, marketing,
The programme gives students the opportunity to prepare for working life through the experience of running their own company, supported by volunteer advisers from business.
Each Company needs minimum one mentor from local business

Significant finance to the 43 municipalities
600 000 EUROS annually directly finance to municipalities in Nordland – for entrepreneurship activities
Teachers education, activities for pupils, participating in JAYE and other activities
Enterprise without bordersFor Youth companies – establish contact and trade between Youth Companies in different countries. Programme runs for minimum 18 weeks.
