Digital Explorer has prepared a Coral Oceans exploration for Your Century! participants. The link below will take you to a series of videos in which you can explore the coral oceans with a Remotely Operated underwater Vehicle (ROV), hear about the day in a life of underwater explorer, take boat tours, learn dive signs and meet an array of underwater life.

The full Digital Exploration pack can be downloaded here, and you can sign up to access other resources.

BEFORE THE EVENTBefore you come to Your Century! you can find out more about the world's environmental challenges by clicking on the links on these two pages.

These take you to great online content provided by two of our event partners – Doc Academy and Digital Explorer – and to video messages from leading environmentalists who have revolutionised the way we think about the planet.

They will help you to enjoy Your Century! even more.

BEFORE THE EVENT

A message from Jane Goodall who in 1960 - at the age of 26 – travelled from the UK to Africa to study chimpanzees in the wild. With little more than a notebook and binoculars, she managed to open a window into their sometimes strange and often familiar-seeming lives. Today, she inspires action on behalf of endangered species.

A message from Sir Tim Smit who dreamt up and then created the Eden Project, near St Austell, in an old china clay pit near the village of Bodelva. Its biomes contain different eco-climates and its grounds feature areas such as "Wild Cornwall". Eden aims to educate people about environmental matters and encourages a greater understanding and empathy with the natural world.
