YOUR CHI A Guide to a Healthy, Safe and Fun Summer!
Lori E. LightfootMayor of Chicago
Dear CPS students and parents,
As the Mayor of Chicago, I am committed to ensuring that our young people remain safe, engaged and supported year-round. That’s why this summer our City departments and agencies are teaming up with neighborhood organizations, faith leaders and community partners to make sure our students have a rewarding and productive summer season. We have created this Summer Resource Guide to provide information about the services available to our students, particularly our high school students, including programs that
are free to the public or require only nominal fees. Whether a young person needs to find a meal, connect with social services, participate in summer learning, or just have fun, the City of Chicago and our partners have a variety of opportunities available. This guide is also available online at Chicago.gov/summer, or you can call or text 311 for more information. On behalf of the entire City of Chicago, I wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable summer. Thank you.
