GEAR THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Here at Your City Sports, our mission is a lot more than just designing and creating cool-looking custom socks, beanies/toques, and scarves.
FFor every order we receive, we send an equal number of socks to a homeless shelter. Order 50 custom pairs of Socks, Beanies, or Scarves, a homeless shelter receives 50 brand-new pairs of high-quality socks. Order 300, the shelter gets 300 pairs. And so on and so forth. This donation can be done by YCS staff or as a service project for your students, club, business or organization.
YYear after year, clean socks are one of the most-requested items by homeless shelters throughout the world. When donating to shelters, people often think to donate things like food, toiletries, and winter jackets. While these are all helpful, people generally don’t think to donate socks. Socks are the fastest clothing item to wear out without proper care, and since the homeless spend a lot of time on their feet, walking through cities, to and from shelters, this adds extra wear-and-tear, and their socks are often discarded.
WWe are called Your City Sports because with every purchase Your City Sports gives back to YOUR community. Many organizations give back to organizations outside their communities, and while all giving is meaningful, we feel that there are many needs in our own communities that are often overlooked and forgotten. By placing an order with Your City Sports, you are directly helping those in need right in your own community. That’s why our motto is YOUR CITY. YOUR COMMUNITY. YOU CARE. All sock styles on this page (#CS29 - #CS32) include dye sublimation. This means that, rather than the design being knitted into the sock, it’s printed directly into the fabric via a high-definition dye printer.
If you have a more detailed logo, would like a custom sock with an intricate design (like our sublimated Triangle or Diamond patterns), or would like a photograph on your sock design, high-definition printing is definitely the way to go.
