Detailed
Tables (DT)
• Tables from summary files that provide the most detailed data on all topics and geographic areas from the decennial censuses and the ACS
• 'P' are population tables• 'H' are housing tables• 'PCT' are population tables that cover geographies to the census tract level• 'HCT' are housing tables that cover geographies to the census tract level• 'PL' are tables derived from the Redistricting Data (P.L. 94-171) Summary File.
Geographic Comparison Tables (GCT)
• These tables provide basic measures for decennial census 100 % and sample population and housing subjects. Users can compare data across geographic areas in the same table (e.g., all counties in a state).
Demographic
profile
(DP)
• A profile provides various demographic, social, economic, and housing characteristics for the U.S., regions, divisions, states, counties, county subdivisions, places, metropolitan areas.
Quick Tables
(QT)
• Predefined tables with frequently requested information for a single geographic area. The information includes numerical data and derived measures (e.g., % distributions, medians).
