1. It is Jesus I need, it is Jesus indeed
Who can make it all possible in me;
Without Jesus I find I am often blind
To the truth he is wanting me to see
43
O Jesus, Jesus,
you are the one who can make
my life complete.
O Jesus, my peace restore.
It’s Jesus I need, Jesus indeed,
Jesus in me, more and more.
44
2. It is Jesus I need, it is Jesus indeed
Who will make my faith beautiful and bold;
And with Jesus in me I need no longer be
So afraid of what future days may hold.
45
O Jesus, Jesus,
you are the one who can make
my life complete.
O Jesus, my peace restore.
It’s Jesus I need, Jesus indeed,
Jesus in me, more and more.

The Faith of a Gentile Woman 21Then Jesus left Galilee and went
north to the region of Tyre and
Sidon. 22A Gentile woman who
lived there came to him, pleading,
“Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For
my daughter is possessed by a demon that
torments her severely.” 23But Jesus gave her no reply, not even a word.
Then his disciples urged him to send her away.
“Tell her to go away,” they said. “She is
bothering us with all her begging.”
Matthew 15: 21-28
24Then Jesus said to the woman,
“I was sent only to help God’s lost
sheep—the people of Israel.” 25But she came and worshiped him,
pleading again, “Lord, help me!” 26Jesus responded, “It isn’t right to take food
from the children and throw it to the dogs.” 27She replied, “That’s true, Lord, but even dogs
are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath
their masters’ table.” 28“Dear woman,” Jesus said to her, “your faith is
great. Your request is granted.” And her
daughter was instantly healed.

As Christ-followers,
what are we being asked to do?
How is Jesus asking us to live?

1. Pray
Let’s pray for them…
Let’s pray for ourselves to have wisdom to
know when to speak and for what to say.

2. Opportunities
Let’s look for opportunities to show love and
kindness to Muslims.
God is a god of love –
let’s represent Him faithfully.

3. Common ground
Let’s talk about the things we have in common,
but then how God is full of love and mercy.

4. Lift up Jesus
This will be an area of difficulty for Muslims,
but we can’t back off.
We can share our own story about how Jesus
makes a difference in our lives.

And Can It Be / SA 283
1. And can it be that I should gain
An interest in the Saviour's blood?
Died he for me who caused his pain,
For me who him to death pursued?
