A soldier’s primary weapon system may require multiple or nonstandard battery types, multiple switches and

controls, numerous spare batteries, and external cables, resulting in heavy, unbalanced weapons. The

rugged, Intelligent Rail can power and activate attached accessories directly from a centralized battery pack

and control panel, simplifying operations, standardizing battery type, eliminating redundancy and reducing

weight. Additionally, the Rail can transfer data, including digital imagery, between the mounted accessories.

With less weight, simpler operation and fewer batteries to haul, combatants can be more mobile, effective

and self-sustaining, for greater mission success.

Law enforcement agencies around

the globe are adopting technologies

field and communicate critical

information to other departments. The

i-PROTECT project is an integrated

system that incorporates these

capabilities, enhancing safety and

reducing response times. Now being

tested, i-PROTECT is designed by

Beretta in cooperation with the

University of Brescia and Intellitronika, a

specialist in computer systems and

communications.

STEINER OPTICS has advanced its “any condition, any

lighting” objective through its cutting-vedge eOptics

Division. All eOptics products are manufactured in the

USA, including battle-proven small arms visible and infrared

laser aiming, illumination technology, night vision, thermal

imaging and combat identification systems. The PVS/21

low profile night vision goggles and the AN/PEQ-15A dual

beam aiming laser device are deployed by special forces
