Halaas og Mohn AS is a mechanical workshop that was established in 1992 by Frank Mohn Services AS and Halaas Holding AS. Today, the company offers a broad spectrum of services to industry both offshore and onshore, and has several long-term contracts with major market participants within the oil industry.
Centrally located at Norsea Vestbase in Kristiansund, Halaas og Mohn AS can be easily accessed by
customers operating in the Norwegian Sea and the surrounding region. The company has built up a
unique range of competence and experience within the field over several years, which together with
our modern facilities and machinery enables us to solve most challenges – both at our own workshop
and at customer locations.
In the summer of 2016 Halaas Holding AS acquired a 50 % ownership stake in Framo Services AS,
thereby strengthening the company’s local presence. The existing effective collaboration between
the companies will continue through a collaborative agreement that has been drawn up with Framo
Services AS. This means that our employees will continue to supply the same excellent services to our
customers.

Our target is zero injuries and no harm to property or the external environment. Systematic work to map risk and prevent undesirable incidents is used in our continual improvement work.
Halaas og Mohn is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 “Quality Management” and registered in Achilles, the oil industry’s supplier register (qualified for 23 product and service groups).

The workshop is also equipped with manual turning lathes, a milling
machine, jigsaws, a steel punch and balancing bench.

Most of our employees have offshore certificates, which means that we can undertake most assignments offshore as well as in our workshop.
