Our client is one of the leading service providers in the field of Occu-

pational Health and Safety Management. They have a set of proce-

dures to track and manage hazards, evaluate risks, perform audits,

report incidents, verify compliance, conduct safety meetings, con-

duct trainings, manage employee details, etc. The company wanted

an online solution which covers all aspects of our client.

Our client deals with Occupational Health and Safety Management.

Organizations can apply online to get the services of our client. Our

client records details of workplaces, employees, trainings, tasks,

incidents, inspections, audits, hazards, corrective actions, daily

diary, tool box meetings, etc. Our client generates various MIS

reports. Our client wanted users to access the system components

based on roles. Our client manages a library of documents, proce-

dures, forms etc. for various industry and standardization. Our client

records investigation results and return to work plans

The Scenario:

Based on ICM's long term relationship with client, ICM was invited

to participate in the RFP process of their On-Line this client

project.

ICM studied the Occupational health and safety management

processes, and suggested additional components to the existing

software. Some of the components are: Online Application, track-

ing and management of hazards, evaluating risks, performing

audits, reporting incidents, verifying compliance, conducting

safety meetings, conducting trainings, managing employee

details, conducting online surveys, recording daily diary, recording

tool box meetings, uploading handwritten docs etc.

ICM completed the project in 24 man months of effort and imple-

mented the system. The system is a web based Occupational

Health and Safety Management system running on IIS, .NET 3.5,

MS SQL database and generates reports using server reports in

PDF.
