celebration.
This unique Hall, with 1,000 years of history is set in over 100
acres of picturesque Cheshire parkland, gardens, lakes and
woods.
The imposing driveway leads to an impressive courtyard and
the Hall’s stately entrance.
Inside the elegant decor and luxurious grandeur provide an
exclusive and exceptional venue for civil ceremonies, civil
partnerships, receptions, wedding breakfasts and evening
celebrations.
Outside the magnificent architecture of the Jacobean-style
Hall and impressive gardens offer stunning surroundings for
beautiful photographs
Chapel Blessing To the south west of the house lies a beautiful Georgian
Chapel where a Blessing can be conducted after the civil
ceremony.
Civil Ceremonies / Partnerships
We are licensed to host civil ceremonies / partnerships in
the Hall’s grand Drawing Room or the Lakeside Wing.
Outdoor Ceremonies
We are also licensed to host civil ceremonies /
partnerships in the grounds of Capesthorne Hall.
Lakeside Wing
This area has wonderful views towards the lake. A civil
ceremony / partnership can take place in the Bromley
Room. The wedding breakfast and evening celebration
are held in the Garden room and marquee.

Hall Weddings
The Hall, including the Lakeside Wing and gardens are
offered on an exclusive basis giving you your own stately
home for the day.
The Drawing Room With its magnificent chandeliers and Italian paintings
the Drawing Room is used for Civil Ceremonies.
The Queen Anne Room
With its ornate fireplace, the Queen Anne room is used
for Wedding Breakfasts for up to 80 guests.
The Saloon The Saloon is a beautiful room for drinks receptions
and leads out to the Terrace and West Lawn.
Lakeside Wing
With its starlit marquee, chandelier and modern white
dance floor the Lakeside Wing is where evening
receptions are held and provides views over the lake
and formal gardens.
The Lakeside Wing can be used for Civil Ceremonies or
Wedding Breakfasts up to 160 guest

Lakeside Wing Weddings
The Lakeside Wing and gardens and can be hired
independently from the Hall.
Our Lakeside Wing offers wonderful views across
the formal gardens towards the lake.
A civil ceremony or civil marriage can take place in
the Bromley Room, Garden Room or Lakeside Room
overlooking the Lake.
If you are looking for an outdoor wedding our
Lakeside gazebo is the perfect setting with views
over the lake and the beautiful formal gardens.
Weddings in the Lakeside Wing include:

Matthew Barrett, the Managing Director, began his career in Harrogate at the International Hotel after a
distinguished education at Folkestone Catering College, followed by influential periods at the Royal Bath
Hotel, Bournemouth and Dukes Hotel, London where he cooked a private dinner for HRH the Queen.
He then made the move to the North West where he was head chef at the renowned Stanneylands Hotel,
Wilmslow (in which time he received a Certificate of Merit at the prestigious Salon Culinaire, a Silver
Medal at London's Hotel Olympia and joint 1st place for "Cuisine Moderne"). More recently and for five
years, he was chef director at a Large Catering Company in Manchester, catering for corporate, charity
events and social functions throughout the Manchester and Cheshire area. Their most prestigious clients
have been HRH Prince Charles on his birthday, the Duke of Edinburgh and Richard Branson.

Chapman Holmes have catered for some of the largest and most prestigious events ever envisaged in this
country, including Royal events for HM The Queen and HRH The Prince of Wales, weddings for
celebrities and Coronation Street stars to private parties for the likes of Yoko Ono. Grant Chapman is the
founder and Managing Director of Chapman Holmes and a member of "L’ordre des Coteaux de Champagne"
and "Association Culinaire Francaise". His first chef’s role was at the Midland Hotel under Gilbert Lefevre
and at the prestigious Broughton Park Hotel in Preston. Grant set up Chapman Holmes over 20 years ago
and won his first major contract in 1991, to cater and event direct for her Majesty at "The Official Royal
Opening of The Conway Tunnel". Grant was recently awarded a Master of Arts degree for his outstanding
achievements at The University of Salford with the events team. Chapman Holmes have featured on ITV
Television and in Ok magazine for their extraordinary events, premier standards of cuisine and service and

Simon Bailey has years of experience working in some of the finest kitchens in the Northwest including the
Juniper in Altrincham (Michelin Star) heading the pastry department and the White House
in Prestbury (AA Rosettes). His passion is taking local produce and creating simple, effective dishes. Adam
Evanson has played key parts in opening 4 & 5 star hotels in the UK as the Meeting and Events Manager.
Within Radisson Blu Hotels, Manchester Airport the largest Airport conference hotel in Europe with 32
event rooms, winning many awards which included the “Best Airport Business Hotel in the World”.
Radisson Edwardian Blu in Manchester City centre. This was the first 5 star hotel property in Manchester
and accordingly hosted high profile events such as Gordon Brown’s G8 Chancellor Summit and the first
Labour party conference in 2006. Each and every client received the utmost care and attention to detail, that
Adam prides himself on.
