We will have games, door prizes, food to purchase, and the opportunity to register for our fall sports programs. Youth ages 6-15 will have the chance to compete in the NFL’s Punt, Pass & Kick event. We also invite you to bring your blankets and join us for a movie in the park where we will be watching The Sandlot (rated PG). Established in 1961, PPK is the oldest NFL Youth Football program. Girls and boys in five separate age divisions (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum.. NFL’s Punt, Pass & Kick Volleyball (co-ed, 3rd - 6th) The Arizona Region of USA Volleyball will be conducting a two hour instructional clinic for youth. Expert coaches, headed by Director Eric Hodgson, will teach both the new and experienced player during this amazing hands on clinic. Participants are also encouraged to continue on with this popular sport and sign up for our winter volleyball program running January - March 2014. Touch Rugby (co-ed, 1st - 6th) Saturday, October 26 and December 14 8:00 - 10:00 am (Gr 3-4) & 10:30 am - 12:30 pm (Gr 5-6) Broadway Recreation Center Participants will get a chance to learn the rules, develop their skills and scrimmage. The beginner level is for participants new to the sport of touch rugby or who need a refresher. The intermediate level is for the more experienced participant and is only for those who have previously enrolled in one of City of Mesa's touch rugby programs. Grades 4-6 intermediate level will scrimmage other teams during the last few weeks of the clinic. Viernes, 13 de Sept de 6 - 9 pmen el las canchas de beisbol FitchAcompáñenos en la apertura de otoño de los deportes juveniles de la Ciudad de Mesa (Youth Sports). Tendremos diversión para toda la familia, habrá juegos, rifas, comida para comprar y la oportunidad para registrar a sus hijos en los deportes juveniles de otoño. Niños de 6-15 años tendrán la oportunidad de competir en el evento de la NFL “Punt, Pass & Kick.” También los invitamos a traer sus colchas para ver una película en el parque. La película será The Sandlot (clasificación PG).

Viernes 13 de Sept de 6 pmen el las canchas de beisbol FitchEsta es una competenciade habilidades nacionalpara niños y niñas de edadesde 5-15 años. PPK, fue establecido en 1961 y es el programa juvenil mas antiguo de la NFL. Niños y niñas en cinco divisiones separadas por edad (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15) competirán en patear y pase de pelota en una forma divertida.

Volibol (mixto, grados 3-6)El grupo USA Volleyball de la región de Arizona tendrá una sesión juvenil de dos horas. Participantes tendrán la oportunidad de aprender reglas, desarrollar habilidades fundamentales del juego y practicar. El nivel de principiante es para aquellos que sean nuevos al deporte o que necesiten un curso de actualización. El nivel de intermedio es para el jugador con mas experiencia o si participo en el programa de rugby. Grados del 4-6 del nivel intermediariotambién tendrán juegos de practica contra otros equiposdurante las ultimas semanas de clase.
