Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZTZ) manufactures longitudinal welded pipes with
diameter of 508-1422 mm, wall thickness up to 35 mm, length up to
12.2 m, from steel up to X-100. Pipes are manufactured in both metric
(Russian TU and GOST) and inch (API 5L) ranges of sizes.
The annual plant capacity is 500 thousand tons.

ZTZ has become a certified supplier of Rosneft PAO, NOVATEK OAO,
LUKOIL PAO, SIBUR Holding’ PAO, RussNeft NK’ AO, Surgutneftegaz OAO,
SGM-Most’ OOO (for the construction of the bridge to Crimea).
The plant has been delivering pipes for the city utilities of Russia, including
Moscow, St-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg district heating, and also Belorussia,
Kazakhstan, the Baltic states.

The contracts with the leading Russian and foreign steel plates
suppliers such as Severstal PAO, MMK OAO, Salzgitter, POSCO, ISD
Huta Czestochowa, Nippon Steel, Alchevsk Iron&Steel Works are
signed. The independent inspection works at steel plate suppliers for
the tightening of quality control.
All steel plates are cleaned on the shot blasting machine.

The equipment supplier is one of the leading European machine-building
companies. This company already supplied the similar pipe plant to
Russia “turn-key”.
The working experience of other Russian pipe plants was completely
taken into consideration.

The pipe tracking system is implemented at the plant. The information about the
manufacturing parameters for each pipe is kept in the database.
The plant is equipped with all the equipment required for the quality control:
- ultrasonic control; - X-ray control; - hydro tests; - magnetic particle control of
bevels.
The plant laboratory is accredited on carrying out of the full range of incoming and
process control and products acceptance tests.
The quality management system under GOST ISO 9001-2011 has been in
operation at the plant.

ZTZ and ITZ (Pipe Coating Plant) located by the side of ZTZ appear to be the
integrated complex for manufacturing and coating of steel pipes. Almost all kinds of
coating are put on pipes.
ZTZ is equipped with the lines for outer 3-PE coating and inner flow coating for
cross-country gas pipelines.
The heat and water proofing insulation (on the basis of foamed polyurethane) is put
on the production facilities of ITZ. The water proofing may be performed on the
base of extruded polyethylene and also of various one- and multi layer
anticorrosive coatings on the base of zinc filled, epoxy and polyurethane paints
both liquid and powder kinds. The ITZ capacity for heat and water proofing
insulation is the highest in this industry sector, up to 200 km of medium diameter
pipes per month.

Due to the expansion of sales ZTZ has been strengthening its position as the
modern high-quality cost-effective plant. As before we have been offering flexible
prices and the shortest delivery time at that ensuring the required production
quality.
In the coming months we are planning to accomplish the approval procedures in
Gazprom’ PAO and Transneft’ PAO; to achieve API 5L certification and also to
master the manufacturing of the products for submerged crossings under DNV
standard which will provide us the additional advantages at the highly
competitive market of the fuel and energy complex.
