Circus Camp Allow your child to find out just how many cool ways there are to have fun learning something new! At the end of this action-packed week children will show off their new skills and talents through a range of performances. Includes field trips to trampoline hall Trix and circus school Circaso.

Performing Arts CampFeaturing a range of different activities related to the different aspects of theatre, performance and dance. Our campers will also have fun with costume making, stage decorations, puppeteering and even script writing! Includes theatre and performance related field trips.

Multi-Activity Camp A fun-packed schedule of different daily activities includes a range of sports, arts and crafts – ensuring variety and enjoyment for all campers! Each week features two great field trips for the children to look forward to.

Football CampThe perfect way to help your child learn or improve their football skills. Under the guidance of a professional coach, each day children will learn or perfect a core skill to develop their technique. Includes trips to football stadium ADO Den Haag and Corpus Leiden.

Tech Camp Covering activities like programming, editing animated movies and reverse engineering, the programme allows the wizzkids to find out how things really work! In addition to the activities, campers enjoy a range of outside games and activities. Includes two related field trips.

Art Camp Explore a variety of art forms including mural design, ceramics, paints, sketching, collage, junk modelling, woodworking and more. Campers are encouraged to learn as many of the available art mediums as they wish. Includes field trips to ScrapXL and the Monkeybos in Wassenaar.

Beach CampA fun filled week in the sand. From scavenger hunting to body boarding, from creating beach art to learning about the waves and tides – campers really make the most out of their surroundings during this camp. Also included is a field trip to Aloha Scheveningen for lifeguard training.

Adventure Camp Set your child’s imagination and adventurous spirit free. Campers tackle challenges like building shelters, making fire-by-friction, making – and shooting! – a bow and arrow, navigation by compass, and more… Includes field trips to two different outdoor survival parks.

Tennis CampWhatever their level or previous experience, our junior tennis camp provides each player with the proper instruction for their age and level. Your child will also learn about sportsmanship, playing with integrity and setting personal goals. Includes two fun filled field trips.

Multi-Sports CampOffering a range of sports, this camp allows your child to broaden their interests and sporting experience. Campers have great fun taking part in age appropriate daily challenges and technical instruction. Includes field trips to an archery club and a sports centre for an Olympic competition.

HELLO HOLLAND!

If your child is new here, and school still hasn’t started, then the chances are they haven’t had the opportunity to meet other children and make those all-important ‘new friends’ yet.

This week-long (non-residential) themed day camp is based around helping introduce children to their new country – and other new arrivals at the same time. From their very first day at camp your child will become immersed in an activity filled week learning about their new surroundings – the culture, the city, the people, and the language – and just some of the many great things there are to do here in Holland…

Safe in the knowledge that pretty much everyone is going to be a ‘new kid’, we will make sure that your child feels welcome.

Whether it’s Clog Painting or Cheese Making, creating their own Delft Blue artwork or baking ‘Pepernoten’, we guarantee there will be something for

everyone in this fun packed week. This camp will feature two fabulous themed field trips to local attractions suitable for all ages and interests.

Traditional Dutch sports and games will provide plenty of chance for laughter and our Dutch related craft activities will allow those creative streaks to show through.

Think it’s only fun for newcomers? Think again! Who better to help other children feel at home than those who are already settled here? The trips and activities are fun for everyone so even if your child has lived here all their life, they’ll still have a great time. Before you know it, they’ll be ‘Special Helpers’ and sharing their knowledge about living in Holland with their new friends.

What language is spoken at Zein Holiday Camps?Our Holiday Camps are open to everyone. English is the main language spoken, but many of our teachers are international and speak multiple languages. Where possible, and if needed, they will take the time to explain things in your child’s mother tongue.

Our camps also offer Dutch children the perfect opportunity to practice their English in a relaxed and informal setting – after all, learning works best when you’re having fun!

Do you have qualified staff?The camps are organised and led by our experienced childcare workers. Where relevant we make use of professional sports teachers and other specialists – all of whom have pedagogical and safety training.

Zein International Childcare is fully registered and approved by all Dutch authorities.

When and where do the camps run?Our day camps are held throughout the holidays of all international & Dutch schools in The Hague. We run Monday to Friday from 08:30-18:30. We have locations across The Hague and surroundings – visit www.holidaycamps.nl for location details.

A great range of themes, trips and activities throughout the holidays

How much does it cost?The gross cost (without childcare allowance) is €85 per day or €425 per week. This price includes healthy organic warm meals and snacks throughout the day; entrance fees and transport for field trips; and all materials and instruction.

Please note that all our camps are held at registered childcare locations. Dutch childcare allowance is available for parents working or studying in the Netherlands irrespective of nationality. Our staff will be happy to help you apply.

What are the booking conditions?Initial bookings must be for 1 week (5 consecutive days). Thereafter bookings can be made in two day blocks. Parents are advised that children will get the most out of Theme Camps if they attend the entire week.
