At 11,053 feet, Mammoth boasts thehighest summit of any California resort, making for deeper, higher quality snow, beautifulviews and a season that can last until July. And with 3,500 skiable acres, 400 inches ofsnowfall and an average of 300 days of sunshine per year, we enjoy re-earning ourreputation as California's only real big mountain skiing experience each and everyseason
Mammoth Mountain is made up of several distinct Resort Base Areas,including Main Lodge, Canyon Lodge, The Village, Eagle Lodge, and The Mill. The resorttruly is of mammoth proportions with over 3,500 skiable acres to explore, 3,100 feet ofvertical drop, and multiple terrain options. An extensive lift system transports skiers to agreat mix of terrain for all skill levels
The top of the mountain boasts steep chutes and mogul runs combined with expansive bowlsand glades. If you enjoy powder pillows, be sure to check out the Hemlocks: in-bounds, hike-accessed steeps that offer natural terrain off the beaten path. For some of the best snow on themountain, hop on Chair 23 and ski Drop out and Wipe Out Chutes.
Mammoth Mountain is home to the award-winning Unbound Terrain parks, where top pros inextreme snowboarding and skiing come to train. Be sure stop by and watch their amazing skills.
