School Infant Nativity Play - ‘SHINE!’ Over Kellet Village Hall, All Welcome ~ £3.00 on door to cover costs 2.30pm Matinee Collect all pupils from school as usual 6.00pm Evening Performance Please could all children arrive in their costumes

NISCU Puppet Show for Infants
No Multi Sports’ Session this week - Unfortunately Natasha cannot continue after Christmas due to starting a new job. We are currently exploring different options to continue the sessions.

Christmas at St Cuthbert’s Church 2.30pm - 4.30pm Viewing of the church Christmas window decorations. (Look out for our twinkly silver display) Refreshments will be available 3.30pm Church Christmas Tree lighting and Carol Singing
Monday 9th December

Christingle Carol Service ~ All Welcome 1.30pm and 5pm
FREE AFTER SCHOOL CLUB! Please let Sarah know if you wish your child to stay after school. We will give them a substantial snack and drink. We will then walk the children up to the Christingle Service at 5pm with all their belongings.
Christingle Information : In trying to address the issue of crowding, we would be very grateful if you could ‘spread your attendance’ across the two services. (eg grandparents at the afternoon service and parents in the evening)
All Pupils are involved in both services
Additional Car Parking is available for the evening service, at Wallings (Kirk House) and the Village Hall
The children will be singing carols, sharing prayers and presentations.
Children should wear uniform for this service.
There will be a retiring collection in aid of The Children’s Society Please may all long and shoulder length hair be tied back.

SANTA …… is coming to the Christmas Fair!
Christmas Fair ~ 1.15pm ENTRY : £2 per adult including refreshments Items for the Cake Stall would be much appreciated on the day
Each child needs to be accompanied by an adult at the Christmas Fair. The children will be waiting to be collected from Pines and the Hall at 1.15pm There will be lots of Christmassy stalls, a secrets’ room for special presents for children to buy for grown ups and fun activities for children as well as a governors’ raffle to win a luxury Christmas Hamper.
Confirmation Prayer Plea
Sunday 1st December
This week we pray for our Year 6 pupils, Ella Andrews, Laney Holt and Lily-Rose Yates as they are confirmed this Sunday 1st
December at 3pm at St Paul’s Church in Caton. Congratulations on wanting to explore confirmation with the Church of
England. Confirmation can be an important part of a lifetime journey of faith as a follower of Jesus Christ.
These are the words the bishop will say in prayer for them : Almighty and ever-living God, you have given these your servants new birth in baptism by water and the Spirit, and
have forgiven them all their sins. Let your Holy Spirit rest upon them : the Spirit of wisdom and understanding; the Spirit of
counsel and inward strength; the Spirit of knowledge and true godliness; and let their delight be in the fear of the Lord. Amen.
