Zaya Nurai Island is situated along the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Just a 10-minute boat ride from Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island and a 60-minute journey from Downtown

HISTORY

Zaya Nurai Island – derived from the Arabic word Noor, meaning light, was conceived by Zaya’s CEO

Nadia Zaal to provide a sanctuary for discerning individuals. Zaya has developed Zaya Nurai Island into

an exclusive community of limited edition Estate Villas and Water Villa homes and Zaya Hospitality first

boutique resort.

Nurai was born from Nadia’s dream to create a truly nurturing living space that would nourish the mind,

body and spirit of each person who made their home there. The ethos is to encourage residents and

guests to reassess and relax, enabling them to fully immerse themselves in enjoying the beauty of life

and prioritising what really matters.

Zaya prides itself on doing things differently and wants to invigorate the hospitality sector with fresh

Beach Retreat: The Beach Retreats are built onto the beachfront of Nurai Island’s southern coast and custom-designed

to accommodate couples. Spacious outdoor areas include elegant verandas and a private palm-fringed

The Book Cellar: The Book Cellar is your home library and the go to destination for games, relaxed conversation or quiet

reflection. The communal table is built to nourish laughter, friendships and indulgence. Premium thirst

appeals to highly successful and health conscious individuals who believe in striking a balance between

Petit Z Kids Club:

Our kids club, nestled among palm trees and just a step away from the beach is a little Paradise for children. An expert and caring team of Hosts welcome children little Zayans and offer a fun and educational range of arts & crafts, nature and sporting experiences that are sure to open the little ones up to new discoveries and friendships. The Petit Z Kids club is open for children from 4 to 12 years old. Opening hours daily: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm

Aquasport activities:

An abundance of water sports activities are available at two locations on Zaya Nurai Island; Smokin Pineapple and North Beach, adjacent to the pool bar. Both locations are the destinations for all your non-motorised water sports activities, from stand up paddle boarding and windsurfing, to sea kayaking and kite surfing.

Fitness, Gym & Yoga:

Our state of the art gym is equipped with the latest cardiovascular equipment with a resident sport and fitness instructor on hand to put you through your paces, and offer you 1:1 personal training.
