Profile
Competent and client focused with 15 years professional hospitality experience working on superyachts and land based roles. Core skills in customer relations, operations, housekeeping, catering, events and interior design. Creative and organised in equal measure, I ensure client-‐facing and behind the scenes operations run smoothly and efficiently. With an eye for detail I always have the needs of guests in mind. Skills and Interests Customer service and client relationships: Experience working directly with discerning global clientele. Intuitive, attentive and considerate in my interactions with guests: demonstrating a genuine concern for their wellbeing and comfort and readily going the extra mile to achieve this.
Hospitality: My position as a stewardess on superyachts involved ensuring the efficient day-‐to-‐day running of housekeeping operations on board, plus training and supervising staff to meet guest requirements.
Events: Experience of planning, managing and assisting in the delivery of numerous events including weddings; corporate launches and dinners, charity events; private parties, theatrical events and motor sport events with up to 10,000 attendees.
Commercially astute: Comfortable in managing projects to deliver results on time and on budget. Identifying with the objectives of a business and implementing the steps to achieve them.
Catering: A capable cook with a passion for healthy, locally sourced and high quality food. I have worked with specialist agencies including Amandine Private Chefs and Lumleys, as well as providing catering for parties and large weddings plus private chef commissions for holiday villas.
Interior design and presentation: Interested in design with experience of managing and optimising interiors for yachts and residential properties. Creative commissions include styling a retreat centre for ‘OMindfulness’, redesigning a client’s bedroom, laundry room, bathroom and exterior courtyard, plus hand painted furniture for private clients.

ZOË SCOTT Scope of work and highlights: • Ensuring yachts were well presented. Performed the role of Chief Stewardess in her absence • Housekeeping and interiors, carrying out daily presentation of all interior and exterior guest areas,
including flower displays, table displays, lighting and evening turndowns • Training and supervision of junior stewardesses, ensuring high standards of service were implemented

Oct 2009 to Dec 2011: Head Housekeeper/Chef/PA Having worked for the Owners of motor yacht JO, I was offered a role at their primary Yorkshire property: • Overseeing the day-‐to-‐day running and presentation of the house, including room styling and flower
displays, allocating tasks and supervising both housekeeping staff and chauffeurs • Overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of 3 other properties; managing all decorating projects • Private chef for the family • Completing administrative duties for 2 charities
Event Planning, Management and Styling Broad freelance event experience, encompassing event promotion and operations, catering, hostessing and styling. Throughout my career, I have worked in events in between my employment onboard yachts: • Since 2007, planning and managing private parties and venue launches for Betty Blythe, a 1920’s fine
food pantry in London • During 2007, I worked for Gekko Events, a physical theatre events company as an Act Scout in addition
to handling customer enquiries and bookings for large events with responsibility for site management. Presented a cabaret show spanning 5 performances where my role encompassed securing sponsorship plus marketing activity including branding, press releases and social media.
• Since the age of 15, I have worked as needed for the 96 Club, a company specialising in corporate motor racing events. Predominantly involved in the catering and front of house at race meetings, including the British GP and Le Mans 24 hours. Recent motor events since 2013 include Salute to Style at the Hurlingham Club and Chelsea Auto Legends, Royal Hospital, Chelsea with 10,000 in attendance.
