Zonguldak Technical and Vocational High School is one of the
oldest and the most white-shoe institutions established in the year
of 1945.

It started to give education to 167 students just with three
vocational fields. The school kept on giving education as Technical
School for Mining after 1949 and closed in 1960.

By the increase of the number of the students and new
vocational fields in line with the requirements of the region,it
became the biggest vocational school in Zoguldak with 40.000 m.
area.

In 2012-2013 the school has been giving a four-year technical
and vocational education to about 2400 pupils including
open-vocational high school with about 162 education staff.

All the students take common/basic skills and vocational
skills(theoretical knowledge and practical experience) except for
the 9th grade and all the students attending the school get a
certificate including a four year vocational/technical education
and training and a trading certificate,as well.

Our school has witnessed a lot of achievements of the students

A Robot Team was established in our school in 2007. The Robot
Team took part in national and international robot competitions and
achieved a lot of success.

of Productivity in ICT and obtained patent on the behalf of our
school.
