EXISTING DRAINAGE AND SERVICES TAKEN FROM UTILITY SURVEY BY AMETHYST SURVEYS LIMITED.
This drawing is to be printed in colour.
DRAINAGE
Allow for jetting of all existing sewers being retained.
All foul water connecting the stacks to the main drainage shall be 100mm Ø laid with a maximum gradient of 1 in 10 and minimum gradient
of 1 in 80 for connections with at least 1 WC. For connections with no WC then a minimum gradient of 1 in 40 must be used.
All storm water connections shall be 100mm Ø laid no flatter than 1 in 100 unless stated otherwise.
Drain and sewer systems shall be constructed in accordance with the design and with particular consideration of the following:
a. Health, safety and welfare of construction personnel and other people.b. methods of dealing with existing flows in part completed systems or when carry out works in existing drains and sewers.c. protection of the environment.
The construction and testing of drains and sewers shall be carried out in accordance with BS EN 1610.
All new manhole and PPIC covers in vehicular trafficked areas are to be grade D400.
