Counseling Services Provided Occupational Exposures: Assessment and treatment of occupational exposures to blood and body fluids or other communicable diseases. If on campus come to Student Health within 2 hours of the exposure, otherwise notify us immediately for directions on how to proceed. No appointment is necessary for an occupational exposure. Student Counseling services are considered a student service and not part of a UTMB clinics. NONE of our records become part of the UTMB medical record. No charge for professional services for health or counseling visits. Charges may be incurred for lab, x-ray, medication, immunizations and additional services by other UTMB providers. ER visits and hospital costs are the responsibility of the student.
