Thisaccomplishestwothings:1. Itwillputsomethinginyourstomach,addingtoyoursensationofbeing“fullenough.”
2. Thepartofthebrainthatcontrolshungerandthirst(andthereforecravings)iscalledthehypothalamus.Sometimeswhenyou’redehydratedorthirsty,yourbrainwillturnonthecravingcenter,makingyouthinkyouwantfood(orsugar)insteadofwater.Drinkingsomewaterwillhelpkeepyourhypothalamusfromturningonthecravings.
