捷豹经典车部门专家团队精心修复了源于1954年的传奇XK120跑车,规格配置均为捷豹客户兼终身忠粉David Gandy量身打造。整个修复过程历时11个月,共计2700小时。修复团队致力于确保XK120跑车重焕实力,从容应对捷豹老爷车挑战赛(Jaguar Classic Challenge)等经典赛车项目。
这款定制版跑车在位于Warwickshire的经典车部门团队操刀下,以美国加利福尼亚州的一辆1954年原型车为蓝本改造,并尽可能保留了原有的发动机。规格配置灵感源自原版XK120轻型汽车。
修复后的经典捷豹XK120跑车性能显著提升,输出功率从最初的180bhp输出跃至225bhp,更能从容驾驭高速行车状态,更显硬汉本色。芯塞等部件采用钢支撑结构,保证部件在高性能驾驶状态中不至于脱落。焕新升级的排气系统以全新的双管设计取代了传统单管。
进一步的改进包括变速更迅捷的赛车式变速箱和前排配置(盘式制动器搭配四活塞制动钳),后部则保留了原来的鼓式制动器。
跑车美学风格,由捷豹与David Gandy联手打造。纯黑外观、双航空级屏幕和陈化马鞍棕皮革内饰,充分彰显Gandy个性美学品味。此外,在这款定制跑车中,捷豹团队还贴心调整了通常位于驾驶座后方的双电池位置,特别将一块电池放在了乘客座后方,确保身材高达1.91米的David Gandy享有更卓越的舒适驾驶体验。
“在2013年和2014年,一台捷豹XK120曾经陪伴我驰骋在Mille Miglia耐力赛上。从那时起,拥有一台XK120便成了我的梦想。”David Gandy如此表示。他计划在公路和赛道上体验这台跑车的驾驶乐趣。
