Dear ICPC Delegate
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 7th edition of the International Conference on Polyolefin Characterization, held for the third time in Houston (TX), USA. If this is your first time attending the ICPC, you will find scientists, scholars, researchers, and representatives from top international institutions leading the polyolefin industry, all here to exchange and share their findings, ideas, and experiences. If you are returning to the ICPC, we hope that you too take advantage of this platform as a pathway to innovation for your work.
This 7th ICPC opens with the Short Course on Polyolefin Characterization Techniques, to be held on October 21. The purpose of this course is to provide the most relevant and current content on separation techniques that are interesting for all levels of expertise. The lectures are taught by a group of six renowned experts from the industry, and the meeting concludes with a Welcome Cocktail for all the Conference’s attendees.
The Conference opens the next day with keynote speaker Jennifer Ronk, Sustainability Professional at Dow Plastics, with the title “Plastics Recycling in a Circular Economy.”
After the keynote speaker, the Technical Program will follow with 34 Oral Presentations to be distributed throughout the three-day conference. The sessions that will be covered are, Separation, Rheology, Spectroscopy and Additivation, Modeling, Properties/Structure, and Morphology. The Poster Session will take place on Monday 22, beginning with a one-minute oral introduction for each poster. After their presentation, all 35 Posters will be available for visiting at the Posters Area until the end of the Conference.
At the end of each day, there will be a cocktail to allow further discussion and networking. We encourage you to meet other attendees and make the most out of the only conference that gathers so many key professionals and experts in Polyolefin Characterization just once every two years.
