INTRODUCTION
In recognition of the Trust's excellence in Education Vinayaka Missions was accorded the Deemed to be
University Status in the year 2001 by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government
of India. The University is the 48th Deemed to be University in India. Vinayaka Mission's Research
Foundation (VMRF) offers diploma, degree and career oriented UG and PG programmes in the fields of
Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, Alternative Medicine, Homoeopathy, Engineering,
Management, Architecture, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Arts & Science and Physical Education. The
University is in the process of continuously developing and offering job oriented and innovative
educational programmes.
Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) Salem is offering B.P.Ed and B.P.E.S
Degree programmes under Faculty of Physical Education, offered in salem campus of the University
namely Vinayaka Mission’s College of Physical Education, Salem Candidates who satisfy the eligibility
criteria will be admitted in the respective programme and institution through counseling, based on
qualifying Examination.
This prospectus contains the general information and rules relating to admission and relevant details of
the programmes offered, counseling etc. Candidates are required to go through the prospectus thoroughly
and acquaint themselves with the details relating to counseling and subsequent admission. The contents
of the prospectus are subject to modification as may be deemed necessary by the University.

portion not applicable. Incomplete application forms will be summarily rejected. Do not enclose any
original certificates. Ensure all information furnished in the application is true and correct, failing which
the candidate is liable to forfeit his/her admission.

website www.vinayakamission.com. The filled-in application form with the photo copy of the documents must reach the following address within the last date, as notified.
Before sending the application, ensure that the Photo copies of the following are attached. Don’t enclose any original Documents along with this application. 1. COUNSELING AND ADMISSION: Mode of Selection: For Physical Education: Admissions are based on the qualifying Examination and marks secured in the Selection trail &
Counseling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF -DU, Salem.
VMRF (DU) will publish the tentative merit list on the Website www.vinayakamission.com
Counselling Schedule will be made available on the website. Candidate will be called for counseling as
per their merit. The candidates should appear for counseling on the stipulated date and time along with all
Original Certificate without fail. The counseling will be held at University campus or its constituent colleges.
Course and college allotment will be done based on counseling in the order of the rank subject to
fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.
Candidates who are not present for counseling on the specified date and time do not have any
rights to claim any seat. The candidate should be present for the counseling accompanied by Parent /
Guardian. Counseling call to a candidate does not guarantee admission to the programme. No Allowances
will be paid or attending the Couseling.
If the originals are not produced, the candidate will not be allowed to attend the counseling, unless
allowed for valid reasons.
Admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit and availability of seats. As soon as the seats
are filled admission will be closed.
ADMISSION AFTER SELECTION: The candidates selected for admission through counseling should pay the Tuition fees and other
fees within the specified date, as prescribed by the University. If a candidate fails to remit the fee on or
before the stipulated date, his/her admission will get automatically cancelled without any notice.
Original certificates with three sets of Photo copies should be submitted at the time of counseling, if
selected for admission.
DISCONTINUANCE FROM COURSE OF STUDY
a) Where any student applies for discontinuance, or without any application discontinues on his / her
own, from the course to which he / she has been admitted, for any reason either after the cut-off
date of final counseling fixed by the university for admission to the first year of the course
concerned or where the seat is rendered vacant without having any chance of being filled up with
any other candidate from waiting list etc., such student shall have to remit the tuition fee and
other applicable fees for the entire / remaining course period. Unless and until payment of all the
prescribed fees for the entire / remaining course period is made to the University, such student
shall not be entitled to get any certificate including transfer certificate, mark sheet etc., to be
issued by the University.
b) All students and parents shall be required to furnish a declaration agreeing to the above said
conditions at the time of admission.
PREVENTION OF RAGGING
a) 'Ragging' means indulging in any act by disorderly conduct to a student of an educational
Institution, which causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or raising
apprehension or shame or embarrassment to that student and includes teasing or abusing or
playing practical jokes or causing hurt to such students or asking a student to do any act or to
perform something which such student will not in the ordinary course be willing to do. In case, the
applicant for admission is found to have indulged in ragging in the past or if it is noticed later that
he/she has indulged in ragging, admission may be refused or he/she shall be expelled from the
educational institution.
b) In this context every student of the institution and his/her parents, or guardian is required to
submit a combined undertaking at the time of registration / admission in prescribed format (which
will be provided by the institution) which is mandatory for registration / admission.
c) Anti ragging regulations of the University Grants Commission and Indian Nursing Council are
forming part of the terms of admissions and are made available to all candidates and their parents
for information and compliance. All institutions are obliged to strictly adhere to anti ragging
regulations.
