Appendix : Access Problems and Solutions for Full-text Articles
Via AGORA, the Journal of Integrative Plant Biology has
been opened. Note the volumes and years
When attempting to open a full-text article, the publisher (John Wiley)
has asked for an Email and Password, or purchase of the
article
Possible Problems Access problems can be caused by:
1) Failure to properly LOGIN with the institution's User Name/Password
2) Technical problems at the Publisher's website
3) Problems with local systems (configuration of user institution’s firewall, configuration of browser) or
4) The publisher has not authorized access.
Institutional Firewall ProblemsIn this situation, a proxy server is blocked by the institution’s firewall. If problems persist, please contact your computer department, as the problem may be on your side, probably with your firewall. Check that your firewall does not block proxies, or at least allows our proxy server, otherwise you will not be able to login. Please check that your firewall permits access to the AGORA’s host and domain names:•www.fao.org/agora•www.aginternetwork.org•agora.aginternetwork.org•agoralogin.research4life.org•stsr4l.who.int For specific IP addresses, ask [email protected]
Otherwise, you will not be able to login properly and access AGORA’s full-text articles.
The Login in From: Test account message or agoralogin.research4life.org url shows
that you are logged into AGORA.
Access to the specific journal can be confirmed in the ‘J’ Journals
Content listing or by opening the Publisher list of accessible journals.
In AGORA, access to the Journal of Integrative Plant Biology is listed on the ‘Browse journals by title’ J list
Displayed is the Accessible Content titles for John Wiley – from the Publisher list. Scroll
down to find specific title.

Listed below is one of several options to complete screen captures:
- Display the screen you want– Click on the ‘print screen’ key - usually top/right of
keyboard– Open the ‘Paint’ program and paste the image
(control/v); to open ‘Paint’ – go to Programs, (Windows) Accessories, Paint
– To edit the image, use the ‘crop’ icon to limit content)
– Copy again (control/c) and paste in document Note: You can delete the ‘paint’ program step and
paste the screen capture directly into your document.
