Summary
Cambodia is one among the poorest countries in this world with around 80% of
population are farmers and had experienced three decade of civil war.
Even though today, there is no more war, Cambodia still faces many socia issues. One of
them is poverty and many Cambodian children are staying with this poverty cycle. The only
factor to break down this poverty cycle is people being educated. However, there are many
Cambodian children today have no chance to go to school because they are orphans or their
parents cannot afford them to go to school, so they have to be the breakwinner since the early
age.
Some of you will have heard about these children. Some of you may have even seen
them dance, a skill they all have and love. We’re asking for your help. If you are able,
please help these children by giving them hope, and opportunities that at present they can
only dream of. They have so much to offer, they just need the chance they deserve. This is
why we want to provide them, and it is a Chance of study English.
Through these perspectives, AIESEC RULE has created a social project, so called
“Cambodia Wing Project” aimed to provide the opportunities for under-privileged kids and
teenagerss, in Cambodia, with the chance of English learning and exposing to other culture
provided by international interns so that they can have a dream in their mind. Intern will
graciously invovle yourself to share your carefulness, heartfelt experiences with those
miserable children.
Objectives
Generating more chances for Cambodian Children to learn English Generating more happy time to those ophans and give them a hope Exposing children to different culture Providing emotional support to those under-privileged children Implementing living diversity principles Promoting global mindset among EPs and local Aiesecers
EPs’ Job Descriptions
Teaching Basic English to children in the centers
Sharing your culture or other fun activities with children
Take care children including sanitation, and hygience
Preparing lesson plan for the class ( EP might get help from center to prepare lesson plan)
Writing a report at the end of your internship to express your emotion to this internship
Filling the evaluation sheet at the end of your internship (Local AIESECers will provide
to you)
Expected Outcomes
Children will have happy times
Children will have some progress in English learning
Children can learn something news from interns
Interns will have shared their carefulness to children
Interns will have a basic understanding about Cambodian children situation and
education situation.
Interns and local Aiesecers will share experience to each other.

EPs’ Fun Times

Hang out with Aiesecers (Shopping, KFC, Club, KTV, Riverside, Pub, etc)
Join all AIESEC’s socials, meeting, conferences, and other local events/ceremonies

Visa Guideline
For all incoming Exchange Participants to Cambodia, we are suggesting you to apply for
business/ordinary visa. This visa can be applied on arrival at Cambodia airport.
How to apply visa on arrival at the airport:
Find visa application counter at the airport.
Fill the visa application form (Notes: in the application form there’s no option for
business visa, please choose ordinary visa).
In the form they are going to ask where you are staying in Cambodia, please ask your TN
manager (responsible LC or MC) about the address of your accommodation, or you can
put one of AIESEC members’ house address if you still don’t know the address of your
accommodation.
Submit 1 copy of your photograph (4x6 cm, passport size).
Ordinary/business visa will cost you USD 25.
For invitation letter, the immigration counter doesn’t usually ask you to submit this,
however just in case you can ask your TN manager to give this letter to you before your
departure to Cambodia.
