MEET THE PRESIDENTAND CEO
Mary Murtagh joined EAH Housing as ExecutiveDirector in 1986 . Professionally trained as anarchitect , Mary specialized in real estate finance andproject management prior to joining EAH . Under herdirection , EAH has successfully pursueddevelopment opportunities creating over 7 ,300 unitsthroughout California and Hawaii , and increasingunits under EAH property management by over850% to more than 9 ,300 . EAH has grown to a staffof 450 , serving 20 ,000 residents .
Mary is a passionate advocate for affordable housingand ways to help lower income families improvetheir lives . She has implemented an extensive list ofinnovative policies at EAH Housing . Murtagh ’sleadership has positioned EAH as one of the mostrespected affordable housing and advocacyorganizations in the Western United States .
