All-Church Brand GuideThese identity guidelines provide a framework for the use of various elements in the FBCG brand. Using the logo and elements according to standards will help provide consistent representation of the brand across various mediums.
BRAND LOOK & FEEL The FBCG brand look and feel is simple and streamlined. It serves to create a con-nection between the church and its programs, to the FBCG church community and beyond.
NOMENCLATURE FBCG should always be referred to in acronym only.
USAGE OF THE FBCG LOGO The FBCG logo should be used on the front of all collateral for FBCG. This includes all sub-ministry brochures and other standalone pieces (such as fliers, posters, etc.). This practice will immediately connect the ministry to FBCG. It will also present a cohesive brand and sense of unity between ministries to people interacting with FBCG for the first time.
Sub Ministry items that fit within a larger framework that is clearly identified as FBCG (such as a banner on a website page or an image for the mid-con email, etc), do not need to have the logo included, but should reflect the same look and feel in font choice and color usage.
ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS The contact information for the church should be placed on the back of all printed materials.FBCG (East Campus)2300 South StreetGeneva, IL 60134630-232-7068www.fbcg.com
A solid blue line or block of blue on the bottom of all-church collateral helps to anchor the pieces together and also serves to connect with the blue in the logo. This line should be 1/2 inch or thicker on brochures.

FONTS Trade Gothic Bold should be used for headlines on main all-church brochure pieces, and on big branded pieces, such as banners, etc.
BACKGROUNDS The logo should not be used on backgrounds that would cause the logo to become illegible. The logo should never be used on a patterned background. The logo may be used on a solid blue background, using the reversed logo provided.
MISUSES The logo should never be distorted by stretching, shadowing, or changing the color.
VERSIONSThe logo may be paired with FBCG to the right OR to the bottom. The steeple icon should not be used without FBCG. It should be used on a white background whenever possible. When the logo isn’t clearly legible over a darker background, use the version of the logo without a background so the background color will show through as shown here.
CORPORATE COLOR PALETTE
IMAGERY CHOICES Whenever possible, imagery chosen should be of actual people and events at
FBCG. Please first look for an appropriate image in the FBCG image library here:
www.fbcg.com/tools
Though the majority of our congregation is white, middle to upper-class, when
possible our photos should represent other social demographics and ethnicities
as well. This should never come across as forced or inauthentic, so use discretion.
WORDING Keep the message clear and simple. Remember that the audience is everyone,
so you will clearly need to state a next step or call to action for them to pursue
more information.
TONEThe tone of all materials created should be friendly, authentic and professional.
This means no ALL CAPS, EVEN IF I AM EXCITED! And no triple exclamation
points even if we did just open a new building!!!!!

SAMPLESBelow are samples of ministry brochures for use in the Welcome Area. The follow-
ing examples illustrate options for placing the logo on a white area on the front,
as well as using a blue strip (or block) of color on the lower part of the piece.
There is room for preference and flexibility between ministries as long as these
basic guidelines can be used as a starting point.

I am no longer stuck in the mire of a 3 year cocaine addiction. God’s grace is more real to me now than ever
before. And it happened through my support
