the word itself refers to something immortal.The Buttafuoco Chinato differs by the normal Buttafuoco

by its production method which involvesthe infusion of China Calissaya bark (aka quinine bark, translated

in Italian as china, hence the wines name Chinato)with Buttafuoco wine. Many herbs and spices,

including gentian, cardamom seeds and juniperare also added to the mix.

The aromatized wine is then matured in barriques.
